In celebration of Hong Kong Art Month, Hongkong Land invites visitors to explore Art Walk in Central, an immersive journey that guides art lovers through the district and reimagines Central as a vibrant open-air gallery. Throughout the experience, visitors can discover iconic sculptures and contemporary installations seamlessly woven into the urban fabric, as the route winds its way past timeless masterpieces, modern works, and compelling exhibitions across Hongkong Land’s portfolio within the heart of the city’s financial district.
For over a century, Hongkong Land has shaped the heart of Central, creating places where people gather and cultures converge. The company remains committed to enriching urban life through a diverse range of distinct yet interconnected experiences. Together with the vibrant art events under the Art LANDMARK, these initiatives transforms Central into a dynamic tapestry of art, heritage and celebration – where “Experience is central”.
Rediscover Central through the creative lens of Art Walk in Central
From 21 March to 4 April, Art Walk in Central invites visitors to rediscover the district from a fresh creative perspective. The thoughtfully curated programme features scheduled bilingual guided tours and performance-led walks unveilingthe stories behind the Central’s celebrated artworks and public spaces. Visitors may also explore at their own pace through a self‑guided route.
Highlights include:
· Sitting Couple (Lynn Chadwick, Bronze, 1989-1990)
· Taichi Series – Single Whip Dip (Ju Ming, Bronze, 1986)
· “The Making of the Spheres” series (Hon Chi Fun, Acrylic on canvas, 1988)
· Double Oval (Henry Moore, Bronze, 1966)
· Rejuvenated Bonsai (Lam Laam, Jaffa, Recycled wood, 2015)
Each stop offers a new perspective on art in the urban landscape, featuring artistic encounters and a fresh way for visitors to experience the district – where art, place and community come together during the Hong Kong Art Month.

Exhibitions further enhance artistic Central
The Art Walk in Central also features two compelling exhibitions. At The Rotunda, Exchange Square, the ‘Hongkong Land Art Collection: Over 100 Years of Patronage’ will makes its public debut from now to 10 April. Works assembled over a century will be showcased to reflect the company’s evolving leadership visions and long-standing commitment to the arts that began long before Hong Kong became a global art centre.
Further along at Jardine House, the ‘Unveiling Stories, Reviving Memories’ exhibition will be held from 20 March to 19 June. This powerful exhibition, presents paintings, vintage prints and photographs from the Hongkong Land Collection as living fragments of memory. It will invite audiences to uncover hidden narratives and reinterpret the past through visual storytelling.

Art Walk in Central - Grand Finale Street Party
The month‑long Art Walk in Central celebrations culminate on 29 March with the grand finale, OPEN. Presented by HE.R in partnership with Hongkong Land, OPEN is a vibrant open‑air street party set to energise Chater Road, blending high culture with contemporary electronic music in the heart of the city. The event will feature Danish trio TRIPOLISM — the only Danish act at Coachella 2025 — making their Asia debut. From 3-10pm, Central’s skyline will form the backdrop to an immersive celebration of rhythm and movement. Artists, art lovers, musicians and the wider community are all invited to come together and experience OPEN.
Concurrently, Hongkong Land will partner with HKWALLS to present the grand finale of its 2026 Festival, HKWALLS: Art on the Move Finale, also taking place on Chater Road on 29 March. The programme will spotlight world‑class street art through live mural creations on the Art on the Move trucks, alongside interactive engagement with artist’s mural. Guests are invited to help artists complete their signature playful artwork or watch them paint in real time.

Art LANDMARK: A Distinctive Cultural Experience in Central
As one of the key destinations within Hongkong Land’s Central portfolio, LANDMARK Atrium presents Art LANDMARK — a dynamic programme of curated experiences that connects the community with art, culture and luxury in the heart of the city.
· The 2nd MotifX – Embracing the Beauty of Chinese Culture
Organised by the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) under the Vocational Training Council (VTC) and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), the showcase delves into the deep significance of traditional Chinese motifs. It features emerging designers who reinterpret a surreal botanical landscape along with Radical Grass (艹 / 艸).
· THE ISLAND – ONIGASHIMA
The contemporary Asian artist Ayako Rokkaku who is celebrated for her energetic, finger-painted works, debuts her Hong Kong solo exhibition with her largest-ever installation ‘THE ISLAND – ONIGASHIMA’. Organised in collaboration with GALLERY TARGET, in the LANDMARK Atrium from 23 March to 17 April the sublime exhibition inspired by Japanese folklore, invites physical interaction to embody the joyful coexistence of charm and mystery.
